Travelling is hard. Travel with children-even tougher. Airlines generally come in at the airport 3 hours before your flight is scheduled to depart. Check-in usually takes approximately one hour, two hours in which you must find a way to occupy your and your child, time. And it is only at the airport. When you are on board your flight, you are forced to sit in your barely large enough to seat for hours on end. This is difficult for an adult, not to speak of a child. If you are travelling with children, are not afraid, there are things you can do for your child by long airport.
The most important thing you do when you travel with children, is to keep them occupied. While you are traveling, you will spend several hours at the airport and several hours on the plane. For all those who have children, you know that keep them satisfied, even at home, is a difficult task. Therefore, keep them content in an airport where there is little to nothing for kids to do, is even more difficult. If you are traveling with children, make sure to pack games, coloring books or toys that fits in your carry on baggage and which can handle your child's attention. For older children, consider initiating a journal in which your child can write down their experiences on vacation.
Another great way to occupy time is to take a laptop or portable DVD player so that you can watch a film or two. Movies are a great way to keep your child's attention during a reasonable period of time.
When you travel with a child, but it's also a good idea to book your flight early in the morning or late at night. If you book your flight at a time when your baby to sleep, you'll want to make your trip much easier and less stressful for yourself.

Buy your child some food from an airport restaurants before you board the plane. If your child is hungry or thirsty during the journey, be one of the attendants to buy some food and drink.
When you travel with children, do you want to always be prepared. Make sure you pack, toys, games and videos to keep your child's mind occupied. Also, make sure to get food, milk, diapers, or anything else your child may need. Make a checklist so that you have all the important things and enjoy your vacation!
